Freddie Mac Prices $1 Billion Reopening of 5.125% Three-Year Reference Notes(R) Security

MCLEAN, Va., Aug. 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — Freddie Mac (NYSE:FRE) announced today that it auctioned a $1 billion reopening of its 5.125% three-year USD Reference Notes(R) security that matures on August 23, 2010. The stop yield for the issue, CUSIP 3137EAAX7, was 4.979%, priced at 100.396585 or approximately 50.8 basis points more than three-year U.S. Treasury Notes. The bid-to-cover ratio was 2.915 to 1.

After the reopening, which was conducted via an Internet-based auction, the total outstanding size of the 5.125% three-year Reference Note will be $4 billion. The issue will settle on August 13, 2007. An application was made to list the issue on the Euro MTF market of the Luxembourg Stock Exchange.

Including today’s offering, Freddie Mac has issued $36 billion of Reference Notes securities during 2007 and has approximately $245 billion in Reference Notes and Reference Bonds(R) securities outstanding.
